That is a tough skill check. How do people feel about me choosing the skill check and us letting it fail? We can save our skill cards, and lose a food, which we can spare, but it allows that toaster to play treachery cards.

That's where part of my reference to luck comes into play, Mr. Tigh. The Raider will attack the unmanned Viper before anything else, so Apollo and the Civilian ship will be untouched... for now.

Going forward, to speed up turns like this if you know there is a Skill Check possibility coming up you may CO whether you PASS on interrupts or play a card. This will save at least a day. And if you know what cards you wish to play you may CO those as well. That will likely save another day.
